| I find it ironic that this is my first time renting a lens, considering how many lenses I've bought (and sold) since beginning digital photography. The Nikon 24mm 1.4G is one that I have had my eye on for a while, but it's so darn expensive ($2100), and no one I know has one, so I decided to rent it over the weekend from Hawaii Photo Rental and take it for a spin. I already shot a couple hundred photos with it, and must say...it's a pretty cool lens. It has the wide angle perspective, but bokeh of a telephoto lens (well almost). I'll be taking it to a music video shoot for Isle Media today, to really put it through its paces. Review of this lens to come soon! Happy Sunday guys :) |
