| Here is Day 4 of the Candid Portraits theme! This is one of my all-time favorite wedding images because of the moment it captures. I was a second shooter for fellow photographer David Lau, and during a lull in formal photos, I noticed Kristen was looking off into the distance, and quickly snapped this shot. I feel her expression really encapsulates the importance of being in the moment; it is so easy for the bride to get caught up in the excitement and chaos of the big day that unless she takes brief pauses like this to realize that's she really getting married, the wedding will speed by like a passing train.
