Shadow Over A Nation

No photoshop done here. This is an image of the flag flying in front of the State Capital here on Oahu. I framed the photo so that a part of the roof was creeping into the picture. I wanted it to represent the shadow that's been descending on the nation, in the midst of the economic downturn, Obama's decreasing popularity, and foreign crisis. This is one thing that fascinates me about photography...you can piece together seemingly non-related elements and have them speak to the viewer as one voice...
