The Vengeful Sword

Here's a quick shot from the photoshoot I did tonight for Kennedy Theatre of the University of Hawaii. I was asked to do promotional photos for the upcoming Kabuki play entitled The Vengeful Sword, and it turned out to be quite a learning experience! There were a lot of people involved, and it was exciting to be part of a large scale shoot.

The lighting scenarios changed a lot throughout the shoot, but this set up really stood out to me.

main light: SB900 fired through 41 inch umbrella high camera right. SB600 bounced off of reflector low camera right to compliment main light. Reflector held camera left for some fill. Background is from a gelled stage light through a stage backdrop.
