Goin' Vintage

This past Friday, I did a third photoshoot with Alexis at her house in Manoa! The house had a really nice vintage style to it, so we decided to go with some outfits that would match the style. Alexis was able to get a bunch of very elegant outfits from her roommates, and that really gave some depth to the shoot. The weather cooperated nicely, and we were able to do a lot of outdoor shots with some diffused sunlight.

All in all, it was a great day to shoot!

btw, I always try to do something different during each shoot, so framing the subject creatively was the challenge for this shoot :)

This was the only set of images that I decided to bust out the speedlights. Left image is lit with SB900 thru softbox high camera right. Right image is lit with SB900 thru softbox high camerea left, plus a SB900 fired behind Alexis for separation. Alexis' roommate, Joanna, who was also the amazing stylist for this shoot, helped me tremendously by holding my lighting set up. Thanks Joanna!!!
