Sometimes, the gem shots happen between setups during photoshoots. This was the case a couple weeks ago, when I collaborated with model Piani, makeup artist Filipa, and her husband Jeda during a swimsuit shoot out in Kahala Beach. Piani was changing her pose, and Jeda was shifting the lighting, when a strong breeze picked up Piani's hair and threw it across her face. Luckily I had, by chance, been looking through my camera to figure out a frame for the next setup, and snapped the shutter.
Moral of the story? Never put your camera down during a shoot because you never know when that shot may come up :)

Beautiful! I love the small, unnoticed moments you capture.
