When I first started out in photography, I had this utter fascination with flowers. They were beautiful, easy to work with, and never asked how long the photoshoot would be. The image you see above is a reflection of an iris within a water drop on another iris. Took me the entire afternoon to get this photo, and my roommates thought I was crazy, hunched over my tripod-mounted camera, holding an iris and straining to get the right focus on my camera. But it was worth it :)
