After months of putting off, I finally ordered my business cards! It was a lot more work than I had planned, but Fleeting Captures is feeling a lot more like a business now ;) I decided to get my business cards through a company called Moo. Based in the U.K, their name is a bit unusual, but they make some of the best business cards that I've ever seen. I'll go into more details through this post. Before I do that, I want to send a BIG mahalo to Alex Hunte for helping me design my logo and business cards! We went through a lot of drafts via email, and I couldn't be happier with the final product. Hit him up if you need any graphic or web design work! |
My 200 business cards came in a nicely packed box with a cool card holder (pictured in the lead-off image). |
Another cool thing about Moo is that they let you upload up to 50 of your own images for use on the cards. I decided to put my portfolio images on my business cards, allowing me to carry around a miniature portfolio for clients! Finally, Moo lets you do a test print of 10 business cards for FREE, so you will know how they come out, before ordering your main batch. I did this, and it was extremely helpful. My original cards had the traditional sharp edges, and I kept poking myself on it (yes, the cardstock is that thick) so I switched to the curved edge style. If you are thinking of using Moo.com for business cards, feel free to use this link to get 10% off your first purchase: http://moo.com/share/76fr7s Thanks for reading! Happy Aloha Friday! |
Ooohh!! These are sleek smooth and sexy!!
ReplyDeleteNice choice with the rounded corners too. They give off a different sort of quality, I think. More professional, and higher class~
And great image choices to go along with them!
In short, love em'!
May I have one still? :3
