New Business Cards from Moo.com!

After months of putting off, I finally ordered my business cards! It was a lot more work than I had planned, but Fleeting Captures is feeling a lot more like a business now ;)

I decided to get my business cards through a company called Moo. Based in the U.K, their name is a bit unusual, but they make some of the best business cards that I've ever seen. I'll go into more details through this post.

Before I do that, I want to send a BIG mahalo to Alex Hunte for helping me design my logo and business cards! We went through a lot of drafts via email, and I couldn't be happier with the final product. Hit him up if you need any graphic or web design work!

My 200 business cards came in a nicely packed box with a cool card holder (pictured in the lead-off image).

Moo cards just ooze quality...they use a very thick cardstock, making the card less prone to bending, so it holds up better in wallets and bags. The inks used are very accurate and crisp...this photo really doesn't do it justice.

Quality is usually associated with higher price, and this is the case with Moo cards. Depending on the amount you buy, prices per card will run from 40 to 50 cents. While this is pricey, I feel like the business card is the physical face of your company (website being the digital face), and you shouldn't skimp on it.

Another cool thing about Moo is that they let you upload up to 50 of your own images for use on the cards.  I decided to put my portfolio images on my business cards, allowing me to carry around a miniature portfolio for clients!

Finally, Moo lets you do a test print of 10 business cards for FREE, so you will know how they come out, before ordering your main batch. I did this, and it was extremely helpful. My original cards had the traditional sharp edges, and I kept poking myself on it (yes, the cardstock is that thick) so I switched to the curved edge style.

  1. Ooohh!! These are sleek smooth and sexy!!
Nice choice with the rounded corners too. They give off a different sort of quality, I think. More professional, and higher class~

And great image choices to go along with them!

    In short, love em'!

May I have one still? :3
