Beneath Starry Skies

When you look up at the stars, you look back in time. Think about it...the light we see from the stars are billions of years old, because they've been traveling for so long, from objects that are incredibly far from us. I think that is way cool.

When I went to the Big Island with some friends last month, it gave me a chance to get a good look at the stars (and in this case, the Milky Way!) without the hindrance of city lights. To me, it's very humbling to look up at the stars...it just shows how tiny we are in this universe. E.T and Optimus Prime are out there somewhere.
