This past August, I had the honor of shooting Jen and Khoa's wedding in Oregon! Jen and I took photography classes together when we were at Pacific U, and I was extremely stoked when she booked me shortly after I graduated (May 2010) to shoot her wedding! Aside from having an amazing venue (a vineyard!), Jen and Khoa had the most unique theme to their wedding: martial arts! As dedicated martial artists, Jen and Khoa did a wonderful job of weaving their passion into their wedding, from the cake decorations to the first dance.
It was great to have Justin McRobert, a good friend, and a talented wedding photographer himself, second shoot for me during the wedding. His images are included in this post with mine. Thanks J!
Jen and Khoa...you guys were awesome to work with, from the engagement photos to the final moments of the wedding. I'm very excited for your new lives together :D |
Reese, you never fail to amaze me with your photos. Definitely worth every penny we spent flying you over to Oregon for our wedding. Thank you so much for your awesome work!! Can't wait to see the rest of them!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! What an amazing way to look back on our day! Thank you so much, Reese! You and Justin were lots of fun, and did an awesome job! I particularly love the silhouetted dress. It's just awesome that you made it black and white, because I feel a little bit like I'm looking at a negative on a light table. It has a classic look about it.
ReplyDeleteGreat work as usual Reese. What a fantastic documentary of the wedding. I love how each shot has a sentiment that just hits you you right at the heart. It is always a pleasure seeing your work, and your brilliant ideas come forward. I know the two are very happy as I am just viewing it. Thanks for sharing and congrats on a successful shoot.
ReplyDeleteGood set Reese. It was fun shooting with you again and hope for more opportunities in the future
