City of Books

During my last day in Portland earlier this month, I decided to explore Powell's Books. This place is an icon in the city, being the biggest book store in the world (taking up an entire city block!) and also reflecting the love that Portlanders have for books. When I was browsing through the store's sections, I noticed a guy reading a book near a window, while being perfectly framed between two aisles of books. I had my D700 handy, so I fired off a couple shots...the shutter sounded like a gunshot in that pin-quiet section lol.
